Hojicha
Sourced from family estates in Kyoto, our double-roasted hojicha is crafted for a deeper, richer expression of roasted Japanese tea. Each batch undergoes a specialized two-step roast in porcelain drums: the first roast gently reduces moisture for an even, consistent base, while the second roast builds rich layers of warm, nutty, caramel-like flavour and a deep toasty aroma.
After roasting, the leaves and stems are carefully blended for balance and milled into a smooth, ultrafine powder. The result is a naturally low-caffeine, amber-brown brew with notes of dark cocoa and toasted caramel that holds its bold, smooth character exceptionally well—whether whisked straight or mixed into comforting lattes.
